Bunker Surcharge - East/North Asia to Australia

Effective 18 July, The Bunker surcharge ex Japan/Korea/China/Hong Kong to Australia ports will be USD 575 per TEU/USD 1150 per FEU, except Taiwan where the increase will apply from 2 August, 2008.

Airline - Fuel Levy Increase

Effective 24th July, all airfreight exports shipment ex Italy, fuel surcharge will increase to Euro 1.30 per kilo.

Bunker Surcharge - Europe to Australia & N.Z.

Effective 1st August, Hamburg Sud advises that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) for the abovementioned service will be Eur 504 per TEU/Eur 1008 per FEU.

Bunker Surcharge - East/North Asia to Australia

Effective 4 July, The Bunker surcharge ex Japan/Korea/China/Hong Kong to Australia ports will be USD 525 per TEU/USD 1050 per FEU, except Taiwan where the increase will apply from 19 July, 2008

Rate Adjustment - Ex Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Australia

Effective 1 July, the AADA (Asia Discussion Agrement) will be implementing a rate restoration programme and will levy an increase of USD350 per TEU/USD700 per FEU.

AADA consists of 13 ocean carriers serving the trade from North & East Asia to destinations in Australia.  Members include:
